I only offer online counselling and mindfulness sessions at present.

What people say...

"Attending counselling with Delphine at Open Space has been an incredibly positive experience. Although sometimes difficult, the benefit of a non-judgement space "just for me" has given me the time and support to take a step back and examine myself. I have learned a lot from my counselling sessions and they have played a large part in me feeling able to cope with anxiety and depression."

 •

" It is hard to find the words to express what this course has meant to me. Finally I have a peacefulness and acceptance which is nourishing and flourishing from the inside out and it feels wonderful. Your professionalism, patience, openness and kindness has been inspiring and thank you so very much."

Hello and Welcome to Open Space,

My name is Delphine Feneulle-Adderley and I have over 10 years experience of supporting people suffering from stress, anxiety and depression both in one-to-one and group settings. I am based in Scotland.

I have a particular interest in mental health and well-being because of dealing with my own feelings of unhappiness, emptiness and anxiety.

My work as a counsellor and mindfulness practitioner is deeply rooted in my own practice of mindfulness & compassion; and the belief that we all have an innate ability to find our way back to well-being.

Today I feel very grateful for the work that I do and for the variety of people I am privileged to work with.

Over the years, I have supported people dealing with:

Abuse • Bereavement • Chronic pain and physical illness •  Life crisis • Isolation • Life transitions • Loss • Low self-esteem • Relationship Issues • Self-harm • Trauma

My qualifications, continuous development and memberships

I trained as a mindfulness practitioner with Bangor University in 2009 and qualified as a person-centred counsellor in 2010 with a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Strathclyde.

I am committed to both my personal and professional development. My capacity for compassion and insight are the result of years of meditation and my inner work. I regularly attend retreats, events and workshops; all of which continues to deepen my understanding of what it means to be human.

I am a Registered Member of the National Counselling And Psychotherapy Society, and of the Mindfulness Association, a non-profit organisation, which supports secular mindfulness and compassion training.
